Terms of use
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use the Yalla Körkort app. The app is provided by Ahmad Toron, a private individual in Sweden ("we"). By using the app you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy.
If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's standard licence agreement for apps also applies. Where it and these terms differ, these terms apply as far as Apple allows.
These terms are also available in Swedish. If the versions differ, the Swedish version applies.
2. What the app is
- Yalla Körkort is a study aid for the Swedish category B theory test. It is not official, and it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or published by Trafikverket, Transportstyrelsen or any other government body.
- The questions are original, written from a textbook. They are not the real test questions, and the mock exam follows only the test's format.
- We cannot promise that you will pass the test.
- The content reflects Swedish law as it stood when the content was prepared. The statute text in the app was retrieved from riksdagen.se on 25 July 2026, and the app shows that date next to the law. Laws and regulations change, and changes after that date may be missing. Check the rules in force at riksdagen.se, Transportstyrelsen and Trafikverket.
- The Arabic and English renderings of statute text are unofficial translations. Only the Swedish text is binding.
- The app does not replace driving lessons. On the road, the actual rules, road signs and police instructions always apply.
3. Your account
The first time you open the app, a guest account is created automatically. You can choose to add an email address and password to it. Keep your password to yourself. Your account is personal.
4. Free and Premium
- Free: all of chapter 1 and one mock exam per account.
- Premium unlocks every chapter, every question and unlimited mock exams. Premium is a one-off purchase. It is not a subscription: nothing renews and nothing more is charged.
- You buy Premium in the App Store or Google Play. The price is shown in the store before you buy. The purchase is made under Apple's or Google's terms, and they handle the payment.
- To ask for a refund, contact Apple or Google under their rules. We cannot refund a purchase made in their stores ourselves.
- If a purchase is refunded, Premium is removed from the account.
- None of this affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
5. "Yours to keep": what it means
In the app we say Premium is yours once you have paid. That means:
- Premium has no end date and does not renew.
- The purchase belongs to your App Store or Google Play account. If you change phones or reinstall the app, tap Restore purchases while signed in to the same store account and Premium unlocks again.
- You have access for as long as the app is offered and works on your device.
To be honest with you: we cannot promise that the app will exist forever. If we ever stop offering the app, we will say so in the app and on this website at least three months in advance. This does not affect your rights under consumer law.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the app to study for yourself. You may not:
- copy, sell or distribute the app's questions, explanations, lessons or images, or use them in another service or in paid teaching;
- extract content automatically, for example with scripts or bots;
- try to get around the payment, reach other people's data or disrupt the service;
- decompile or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law expressly allows it;
- use the app in breach of the law.
7. Intellectual property
The app's content – questions, explanations, lessons, translations, illustrations and design – belongs to us or to those who license it to us. You get a personal right to use the app under these terms. That right cannot be transferred.
Swedish acts and ordinances are public and not protected by copyright (Chapter 1, Section 9 of the Swedish Copyright Act). The statute text in the app comes from riksdagen.se. Our translations and explanations of it are our own.
The name Yalla Körkort and the app's icon are used by us. App Store belongs to Apple and Google Play belongs to Google.
8. Mistakes and liability
We work to keep the content correct, but mistakes can happen. If you find one, report it from the question in the app or email us.
If something in the app does not work as promised, you have the rights consumer law gives you, such as having us fix it. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we are not liable for:
- whether you pass or fail the test;
- decisions you make on the road;
- indirect damage or loss;
- interruptions caused by things outside our control, such as faults at Apple, Google or our providers.
These limits do not apply to damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and they never limit the rights you have under mandatory law.
9. Changes to the app and these terms
We keep developing the app and may change its content and features, for example when a law changes. We will not remove what Premium includes without good reason.
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top. For significant changes, we tell you in the app before they take effect. If you do not accept the new terms, you can stop using the app and delete your account.
10. Ending
You can stop using the app whenever you like and delete your account. Deleting the account does not refund Premium. The purchase stays with your store account.
If someone seriously breaks these terms, for example by distributing the app's content, we may suspend the account.
11. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. If you are unhappy, please contact us first and we will try to sort it out. You can also turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes, Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN). Disputes are decided by the Swedish general courts. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection that your country's mandatory consumer law gives you.
